Main Project Timeline of Development

 

Using my information I have already gathered from my digital adventures workshop I will continue researching into Scientology and my goal is to visit the Church in London and record on my findings while also bringing light to the victims and controversies of Scientology.

I want to create a publication highlighting how Scientology has a certain control on its followers that makes it extremely hard to leave, I will do this through using my experience and people who have left Scientology and their stories. Using images from my research and my visit to the church to illustrate the control they have.

I started roughing some ideas for my front cover.

In my publication I will choose 3 members of scientology and tell their stories, I will also highlight certain things that Scientology has been known to do within the church that has caused controversy such as the different money making schemes the church has, the spying of its members and the way in which it separates families.

The publication will start with a contents page and a manifesto page.

After this it will have a double page about the churches relation to money.

Then a double page about the spying and blackmail by the Church.

Then a double page about the spying of members.

After this will be the 3 stories of the ex members.

On my last page I wanted to put in my zine about the story of Xenu from Scientology to show how insane the cult is. If I am able to print I will print my publication and my zine put the zine into an envelope and mark it with the Scientology logo and sending address in a top secret format and then put my zine inside, I would glue this to the end page of my publication.
